Introducing New Linkpartners: Joost Zwijnenburg, Tenorsax

Speelt sax sinds 1986, gestart bij muziekvereniging Crescendo in Sliedrecht, vervolgens gespeeld in de bigband AE Jazz Orchestra en soulband Basement Five. Voor de blazerssectie van Basement Five de arrangementen geschreven, toen nog met de hand. Les gehad van John Segers, Rolf Delfos, Pablo de Haas (tenorsax), gestudeerd aan de DJAM in Amsterdam. Op de DJAM comboles gehad van Sven Schuster.

Introducing New Linkpartners: De West Coast Bigband

De West Coast Big Band is een dynamische band die bekend staat om zijn spetterende concerten, met een avontuurlijk en swingend repertoire. Deze band maakt van concerten, personeelsfeesten en diners een stijlvolle en swingende gebeurtenis op hoog niveau. Bijvoorbeeld door samen te werken met diverse top-vocalisten in de stijl van Frank Sinatra en Nathalie Cole. Verder is deze big band een graag geziene gast op internationale Jazzfestivals in binnen- en buitenland.

Introducing New Linkpartners: SWING DEALERS

SWING DEALERS is a band which rests upon the saxophone player Vincent Mardens and the singer/bass player Jean Van Lint. The interaction between saxophone and vocals creates a unique sound which characterizes the band.

They are supported by fine musicians who complete the band. In its most common form the band performs as a quartet.

Introducing New Linkpartners: Caroline de Rooij, vocal

Born in 1976 in The Hague, The Netherlands, Caroline de Rooij started her musical route by learning to play the piano when she was 7 years old and additionally attended both violin and singing classes. She obtained her Degree of Music at the Conservatory of The Hague in 2002, whereas in 2000, her debut-CD “River” - produced by Hein van de Geyn - was published. She was finalist at the “Ann Burton Award”, as well as at the “Nederlands Jazzvocalisten concours” in 2001.While Caroline de Rooij is currently giving jazz singing classes at the Conservatory of Klagenfurt, Austria, she performs throughout Europe.
