De Stichting Porgy & Jazz - een soort "spin-off" van de Stichting Porgy en Bess - is verantwoordelijk voor de programmering en organisatie van maandelijkse jazzconcerten. Deze concerten zijn van een bijzonder hoge kwaliteit en vaak exclusief voor Nederland en/of België. De afgelopen jaren hebben o.a. opgetreden Toots Thielemans, Pim Jacobs & Rita Reys, Betty Carter, Ray Brown, Nat Adderley, Denise Jannah, Roy Hargrove, Joe Lovano, Diana Krall, etc.

Tucsonjazzradio.org is back on the Air

Tucsonjazzradio.org is back on the air and coming back bigger and stronger than before. The broadcast and URL are back in the hands of founder and director. Just do what you were doing before to get the broadcast. There are so many people to thank for their help in restoring the broadcast to its original format. That will come later in an official statement. This is just an informal message to all those who are friends and original supporters. We are on the air! Thank you to those who tuned in before and I hope that you will continue to dig as TJRP continues its mission to bring you a jazz radio station in Tucson.
